Now this is a , story....

Hit Bird Island today with my crew. Good fishin'. Finally got that 30+ inch we have been after for 3 months. Length was a tad over 31 if stretched right. The entire crew was excited and there were shouts and high-fives aplenty. We carefully took a bunch of pictures and hurried to get the fish back in the water asap.

Then.... "Hey grandpa, we forgot to put our contest logo in the picture." Then.... several words that grandpa does not usually use, especially in front of the crew. Can't believe I forgot the damn logo!!

I'll post it up on the contest page, plead senility, (I'm 72) and see what happens.

We had one other fish at the boat that would have pushed 30 but he made it to our anchor rope and broke off. Carp meat was the best bait.

We'll be back after 'em tomorrow.

That thing is the absolute monster. I for one hope they let you put it in the contest with or without the logo. Lord knows we all make silly stupid mistakes from time to time. I made it to the lake once, launch the boat then realized I left the fishing rods at home. We all have our senior moments.[crazy] Regardless of what happens that thing is awesome and a memory those kids will have forever.
