Planning on heading up to strawberry this weekend to do some camping , hoping to get a good amount of fising in. Anybody know what kind of flies would be good to catch some kokes, I heard they are around 25 ft deep and like red, pink. Any help would be great, will be fishing from a boat.

Might be a bit tuffer with them changing. I would think they are not going to be hungry.

if you can find one of the few streams you can fish for them when they turn they will hit a streamer out of aggression

Really? I fish Soldier Creek a lot and I have never seen them. I will have to keep an eye out.
Now Renegade bay, I have seen them in the past. Didn't look this last trip.

Strawberry tribs but they close to fishing for the spawn 9/1.
You can find Kokes in the Green River in Wyoming open to fish during the spawn. Not sure why you'd target them over trout other to say you caught one.

you can do the wyoming thing, if you look hard enough you can find streams here in UT that do not close to the kok spawn that you can swing a streamer at while they are running

Yeah Idaho has a really sweet run of kokes that's open to fishing. Forgot about that. I just don't like to catch salmon when they start to get nasty so usually target the trout with lake runs.
