After spending some time at Joes Valley Reservoir in Utah. The ramp was closed and the water really low so I had to haul my gear down to the water I found that I really needed a wheel for my toon. Since my toon is an old Leigh there really is not much frame to work with let alone parts.
[sly] I scored a great deal on two outcast wheel systems for my two toons. The question was how to attach them? After a little help from FG (she got the gears working in my head) I came up with a design simple enough and easy to fabricate. No I did not use PVC this time. I went to metal supermarket and found in their remnant section a piece of 3/8" x 3" aluminum just the right length and price. I did have to cut it down a little to fit. Drilled 4 holes to attach to the foot rest brackets and to attach the wheel bracket. It worked!!! Here are the pics showing my frame and the design. [cool]
