pike or muskie

Hey guys, I'm planning a trip to fish for pike or tiger muskie. I don't really know which one to decide. If you guys could help me out I would be very grateful. I would like to know the the best location and that location on the lake. What lures should I use? I bought some large lures a six inch crankbait and a nine inch soft plastic lure, should I use those? I have a float tube that I can use, but my parents would like me to stay close so that's why I would like to know the location on the lake. Thank you very much guys.

Tristan,

Yuba is going to be your best chance. Yuba has Northern Pike in it, no muskies.
Use anything that has perch colors in it. A lot of guys use a float tube and do real good.
I see guys fishing the big bay next to Oasis camp ground and they catch pike quite regularly.
