Tips for willow beach?
#1
I have done pretty good this year at boulder beach with the small striper but no luck at willow with the bigger ones.I am fishing out of a kayak so i am a bit limited as far as range goes.My biggest question is should i paddle up river or down river? What are the best techniques to use?Any tips are appreciated and thanks in advance.

Big baits!!!! The bigger the better...soft fast sinking baits for the deep fish through the day..slow sinking or top waters for early morning or dusk...if you have them two piece glide baits you can use those allday and night... rainbow trout, carp or white are the colors for morning through to sunset..black or dark rainbow at night..my top ten swimbaits for down at willow are:
Ss250 in flash trout, flash carp or nude black
Lunker punker in trout
Rago soft tool in light trout
M.s slammer 12" light or dark rainbow
Rago glideator rainbow trout
Huddleston deluxe 8" rof 16 rainbow or golden brown
Savage gear real trout 8" rainbow dark or light or hitch gold
River 2 sea wide glide 200 sub surface or floating...black or red horse
Abt wag tail 7.5 in dark trout
Mattlures channel cat is the smallest bait i throw
