Big Wood

I am going to be in Ketchum for a few days next week. Has the water cleared up in the Big Wood? Are there better choices in the area like the Salmon near Stanley of other rivers near by? I also could take my pontoon.

Your best bet would probably be Silver creek.
The big wood is mighty iffy right now with the rains and run off we been having..
Another choice would to bring your toon and hit Magic.

We hit Magic yesterday and it was not that good unless you want to catch perch and bass. Three of us only caught 4 trout in 5 hours of fishing. If a storm comes in the bank where a lot park turns to mud. We were wondering if we were going to get out just after 10 minutes of very hard rain.
