looks like another month of 70s-80s for us low landers.

I will have to go out and dump some ice in the lake to get it started [fishin]

Been cooling of nicely here in Idaho. Still, it will be nearly 2 months before we'll have any "safe" hard water, if there is such a thing.

I saw 2-4 feet of snow in the Dakotas this week..

well I wasn't there, but saw it on the news.. It is encouraging to say the least.

Next Wednesday or Thursday I am going to try and ice fish Henry's lake , Idaho .

The high country in Utah has ice and some crazy anglers have already been on it. Still to thin for my liking though.

I walked out to my ice hole yesterday, it is crusted over, today the wind broke it up. after today it is susposed to get worm again. 41 and raining on monday.
