Scofield Crawdads

I went up to Scofield a few weeks ago to see how many crawdads were shallow.... and there were not very many. I tried raw chicken legs and cat food.

Has anyone been up there recently and seen if the crawdads are more plentiful yet? My kids love crawdading, and have been bugging me daily to go, but I don't want to take them up and get skunked.

It's probably done this year for active craws. You should've went in August which is peak time. When it gets this cold they head deep and stay put for winter. There will still be a few at Scofield and the Berry in shallow but not for long.
