Well after the last CFF debacle I wasn't sure what to do. I ended up getting to the lake early to check some stuff I haven't looked over this summer. Nothing promising and I ended up hitting some of my regular water at blast off. First spot and nothing and I think here we go again emoBang I leave that place and fish a deep point with grass halfway down with a jig and the grass was just too snaggy so I switched to a t rigged worm. I chunked across the point and as soon as I felt the grass WHAM! Hooked into a solid 4 to 4.5 lber. I had him skiing across the water to instead of netting I try to just flip him in and he comes off right at the rub rail emoAngry emoAngry It got slow and I fished all over. I made a stop outside HBSP and got a 3.5 and shortly after another about the same. Tried to get another keeper but ran out of time. I caught a short at 9:50 and my worm was toast. I was not gonna get a new one for the last couple minutes so I went to dock. I threw my entry fee back in the water at the CFF and I lost a money fish trying to hurry him to the boat this trip. Man my luck has really dried up lately. Im ready for some fall schooling!emoHoppingmad Congrats to all the winners and to Rudy and Chris on a great bag. emoToast All mt fish were caught on 10" worms in or close to grass. 5 to 15 FOW and temps were a steady 74 to 75. Nice evening once the sun went down.
