Mantua last Saturday
#1
We hit mantua for a couple of hours on Saturday and after fighting with the wind for a while we decided to troll some rapalas and had a few special fish run into our lures. 3 trout and one bass biggest was 16". Made for some tasty filets and kids had fun. Only one other boat on the lake but looked like he was catching a few too. Pic to come.

Nice. Thanks for the report. Been wondering how Mantua's doing. So is it green pea soup like last year?

Trolling? That's always a challenge at that lake! Are the weeds dying down?

See any Gills?

Great Smile on that thar kid, he looks Happy Happy Happy!

Water was actually fairly clear but lower than normal. We definitely had to stick to a specific path to be able to troll but we couldn't stay put with the wind so that was kind of the option. We went searching for perch and/or bluegill but had not luck in that area.
