I fished from the south dike for about 3 hours today from around 2 to 5. Not even a hint of a bite. I just soaked bait hoping a wiper or catfish might come along. The only activity I really saw were carp slurping farther out then I could cast. Willard sure seems dead sometimes.
Peace,
Justin

Thanks for posting your report, sorry to hear the catching was not happening for you today. What kind of bait were you using?
I bounced a jig and a crawler off the drop off along the North dike and caught a smallmouth and had a few more bites but could not get a hook in them.

I know the feeling. I have spent many hours at WB only to get skunked! But...there are times that its "fish on" alot. Thats what keeps bringing me back. Good luck!
