Anyone ever fish the cutoff bays above Gregg basin?
I was dirt biking there and saw some pretty big splashes that didn't look like carp. The water was pretty murky though.

I havnt personally but I know a few guys that went there bout 2yrs ago and caught fish... you can drive there on a dirt road that starts just south of mesquite. Is that how you ended up there or is t here a shorter route?

I belive devils cove flooded last winter at lake elev. 1121. That would explain why the water is now grey instead of the brown i saw a few years ago. My first guess was carp like i saw in large numbers in grand wash lake a few years ago. But there were some jumps that seemed pretty bass like. Might try to fish it next winter with worms if the lake stays down. Lake mead starts just above sandy point now.
