It sure was foggy this morning! Put in at HB and started out to the mouth of the bay for blast off when the bilege pump came on? Everyone else is out there and ready to go but Jerry and I go back put the boat back on the trailer. Sure enough, the plug is out!? Finally get back in the water and start fishing. 15 min. later I get a 4.6 {on my trusty Rapala scales}on a Spinner bait. About 10 min after that Jerry gets a 5.6 on a trap! I bet you thought I was going to say a c-rig didn't you! We though, ok tis will work. About an hour later I finally hook up on another good fish that striped the drag and bulldogged her way back in under the grass. Then the wire on the Spinner bait broke!? I thought, ok we'll get another one here we are on to something. It's ok.Two hours and three locations later I finally got our third fish. A 4.0. Jerry caught another dink on a trap and the was it! We got beat by .14 100ths of an ounce! And Jerry was beat on the big fish by .19 100ths of an ounce. I was showing the water temp at about 64 degrees.Tthe fish were caught in 2 /5 fow.
