Planning to hit Strawberry in the boat Sat
#1
If anyone has a report on the Soldier Creek or Strawberry Bay marina conditions from either Today or Friday, it would be much appreciated.

I assume we are still good to launch but would like to make sure!

Any information on the road to Renegade and the ramp conditions there would also be appreciated.

Went to Renegade on Wednesday. I have a truck, but didn't use the four wheel drive. A little slippery but not bad at all. I personally didn't launch a boat, but someone did while I was there. It started to rain when I was leaving for the day, so I'm not sure if that will impact the conditions now.

I went up Sat. Boat ramp on the Soldier Creek side was covered in snow but we were able to launch. No ice with all the wind.

It was COLD so we only stayed until about 10:30.... caught 20 fish between two of us.

I went with a friend to Renegade on Sunday. The road to there was slick only in the shady spots but not bad. The boat ramp had some ice on it but enough bare spots to launch with 4 wheel drive. The water in the bay was quite murky - only about 1.5 ft visability. I assume it was because of the wind from previous days. When we headed over by the old dam the water visability increased to about 4 ft. and the fishing was better - but not as good as last week. We caught about 30 fish between the two of us on the standard white tube jigs tipped with crawlers. Even though we graphed lots of fish on the bottom in the deeper water, most of what we caught was in the 15 to 20 depth.
