we drove to Blackfoot and found it to be capped with ice. Ended up at a small lake in Malad area and found the Rainbows biting Maniac Minnows in Flash Minnow color. Fish raged from 14" to 22".
Ice fishing is just a short time away!

Nice fish. Thanks for the report and what is the best way to enter Blackfoot during the winter as the road from Soda isn't maintained? Is it snowmobile only or can you drive in?
