Strawberry bonding time.
#1
My son went to Russia on his mission. Actually, he served in Russia, Belarus, Kazakstan, and then back to Russia, ending his mission with 4 months in Siberia. He says when it is 40 below 0, you can blow upwards and grow ice on your eyelashes. You can also make it snow by throwing a pot full of boiling water up in the air. It instantly freezes!

Anyway, I haven't been able to get him fishing in the 7 months since he's been home, or in the 7 years prior to that.

Anyway, he has agreed to go up to Strawberry with me on Saturday morning after Thanksgiving in my boat.

Has anybody been up there recently? Are the roads ok to drive on? How about the ramps?

Looking forward to catching a ton of lunkers. Hope they are still hungry!!

Planning on jigging with white tubes tipped with worms. Any other suggestions, or secret hideouts for the fish you want to tell me about?

Will appreciate it.

I'll report on our adventure when we get back!

The response was in Russian text, stating "good luck!" the browser font must not have been able to understand the Russian fonts. Something like that.

Looks like Friday weather is going to behave for us. From reading other posts I see that the ramp is cleared and that there's not a lot of terrible snow out there. Looks like it was actually warm today. I'm hoping the roads are not icy. It hasn't snowed up there for days, so the road shouldn't be too bad. It looks like it's going to be a fun day of fishing tomorrow. I'll see some of you there tomorrow.

Have fun,
