Yes, just be careful if you go to the Madsen bay entrance. If snow is all over the road it can be hard to see where the road is and it can be easy to slip off an get stuck...I did it a couple of years ago.

Always check with UDOT, Highway 6 was closed tonight for a while.

had a friend moving here from texas , they came over hyway 6 at 6 pm last night in a uhaul pulling a trailer with a car on it. They had no problems and said the roads were clear. The roads up to scofeild are plowed , paved , and maintained year around. You'll have no trouble.

I used to drive my Corolla to Scofield ice fishing all the time. Madsen bay, or the west side usually have decent parking. The pull outs by the dam are plowed sometimes too. Traded the Corolla in on a Camry this year. I'm pretty sure I'll leave the pickup home a few times this year and take the Camry. Saves on gas! Be sure and pick your days...if it's snowing hard, Scofield can be fairly unforgiving!

Just make sure you go Hwy 6 to 96. That route is constantly maintained for truck traffic.

The road coming over the top from Fairview is closed for the winter.

Starting when? I have traveled that road many times in the winter, including last winter.
