The reservoir is still two-thirds covered with ice so access is limited. The daytime temperatures were in the low 50s while the nights were dropping in the high teens. [/#000000]

[size 3]Daniel Maes, Installation Technician, said that all reservoirs are about 80 percent iced-over. He noted that the ice conditions could change rapidly with an expected cold front that is scheduled to come through the area. The ice is not yet safe for ice fishing.[/size]
[size 3]A few shore anglers fishing Cold Springs Reservoir were creeled but they had very limited success. A few stocked rainbow trout were taken that averaged 12 inches. The fish were taken with PowerBait.[/size]
