Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks is seeking individuals to serve on an advisory council charged with developing recommendations for simplifying the structure of an array of state hunting and fishing licenses. In addition, the group will consider potential license fee increases necessary for sustaining long-term funding for fish and wildlife management in Montana.
The Fish and Wildlife Licensing and Funding Advisory Council will lead an effort to examine about 100 different types of hunting and fishing licenses and the impacts of special earmarked accounts and free and discounted licenses on fish and wildlife management funding.
