I just checked on conditions at Starvation at noon today (Dec. 10). Ice is beginning to form. There is currently thin ice in the area south of the bridge, under the bridge and in the backs of bays. [cool]

Anybody think the ice will grow fast enough to be fishable Friday? I may get crazy and give it a go but it's a long drive for unsafe ice.......

It's not capped yet. Might find some good ice in the bays, shallow. Or maybe not.
