Was not able to get on the ice until about 11am today but we stayed until 5pm. The two of us caught 5 trout and 12 perch. Kept two of the bigger trout and 6 of the bigger perch. The biggest perch was 10inch the smallest one we kept was 8 inches.

We went out sunday from 7 am untill about one. We fished up near the inlet. The ice was about 5 inches, but it sure was singing to us out in the middle. Caught about 12 fish-7 trout, 3 dink perch, and a brown trout that looked like he was in need of obamacare. Nothing big. Fun day in all.

Thanks for posting your report. Sounds like a decent day on the ice. That sounds like a long walk or did you take an ATV?

I parked at that beach entrance and walked in from there. I would have rather taken the snowmobile but didn't feel it was safe just yet.

By the dam it is 7 inches or so. It's thick enough to be comfortable. I would recommend Salad Shrimp as far as bait for trout.
