Kidney and cove pond.
#1
Fished Cove pond 2 time on my break for 30 minute each but nothing. Some day if I get to stay longer on the ice some day might move around and see other spots because lately with short amount of time I just fished close too the spot where they were last week but nothing this week. Cove pond ice is 9-10" get's thinner when you get closer to the water ventilation.

Fished it for a 1 hr caught about 4 rainbow trout all small guys. Used TD small white glow jigs tip with wax worm or regular worms. Had many hit and miss and a few big tugs that could of been a kitty sniffing around.

Ice on the south end is 3" and when you get closer too the open water pocket it's 2".

There is a white boarder around the sign, which means it is optional.

I just wish all ponds are open in the winter even when the ice is thick enough. Especially I wish riverton pond didn't have a fence so I could catch some big bass or wb out of there but no the dang fence and season limit too it.

I'm pretty sure I wont break through on 4-9" ice for how light of a guy I am.
