I was there from sun up to sun down on Saturday. It was quite the enigma for most of the day. From sun up until about 2 pm I caught 2-3 fish. After that, we finally started getting a little action and figured out what they wanted. Then we had decent fishing until dark. The fish were on the small side this year. Several were under 12 inches, but we did get a few that were pushing 19 or so.

That's actually my buddy Dave. He's one of those guys that likes his fish still wriggling. [Wink]. He was actually supposed to pull his head out with a fish in his mouth, but the fish just weren't cooperating.[Wink].

I believe they call that the "Redneck Fish Finder".
(warning: product red from extreme cold)

We had a similar experience on Sunday. Caught 5-6 small perch from 8:30-12. It finally picked up at 12 and we caught 3 nice trout and a lot of little perch. Did catch 2-3 perch around 10 inches but didn't keep them as we didn't have enough for a meal. Hooknhunter did you guys find any perch? Thanks for the report.

Only got 1 perch between us all day. It was about 12 inches and came in about 22 FOW.

Fished there on Thursday, stayed the night on the ice and fished again on Friday morning. No change really.

Slow with the exception of early morning and late evening. Very light bites. Nothing over 19". Several below 13 inches. Got several small perch on Friday morning.

We thought that the channel on the north end of the reservoir produced best, but it was still slow, so perhaps it wasn't any better than anywhere else.
