Rookie- Lost Creek
#1
Hello. I've been following BFT for awhile now and decided to join. Most of my 20 years of fishing has been with a fly rod, but I started ice fishing a couple of years ago with the family and friends, and fell in love with it. I have found this forum to be very informative about ice conditions and such. Anyways, thought I'd introduce myself and give a quick report of my own.

I fished Lost Creek last Saturday and this Friday. Ice was about 4 to 6" everywhere we drilled. Friday the lake was covered in slush. We stood in 3" of water all day. The fishing was consistent enough to put up with the water. Gizzy bugs with waxies were the ticket. Fished in 35 fow caught fish in the entire water column.

Thanks for the report. Been thinking of trying LC through the ice. Were you fishing near the dam or did you make it over the to the boat launch?

Been fishing off the dam. Road to boat launch looked too sketchy. It seems like someone was plowing to the boat launch last year, but not for sure.
