has anyone seen any machines out on the ice yet this year? thinking about taking the wheeler up tommorrow. i gotta find some perch and get my fix in

I fished Rabit Gulch yesterday and saw 4 or 5 machines on the ice. ICe was 7 or 8 inches solid clear healthy ice. Fishing was slow ....only iced 3 bows in our group of 8.

No perch? Were you trying for trout only or was someone in your group looking for perch? Anybody see perch yet there this season?
