Howdy all, just wanted to introduce myself. I've spent plenty of time in the forums before reading up on the latest and finally registered. Headed out to Mantua in the morning and hope to do some good. In my experience, you just never know what your going to get up there, but I've never let that stop me! . I'll post my report tomorrow be it good or bad.

Welcome to the forum! Good luck tomorrow, my best luck there was a white ratio with pink head, silver cast master for attractant in about 7foot of water.. But suspended about 4 foot under ice.

Had a great day on the ice at Mantua on Saturday the 28th. Fished from about 7:30 am to 2 pm. Glad I got there early as there were plenty of fellow fishermen hitting the ice that day.
It wasn't red-hot, but caught about 20-25 consisting of BG and Perch. A couple of nice perch in the 7-8" range and a couple of nice slab BG. All caught on a 1/8 oz jig, pink head, white plastic body with a wax worm.
