Ririe!!!
#1
Went fishing on Ririe on New Years with my brother in law. Fished out from the boat ramp and did really well. Caught two Cutthroats right off the bat and then had a few schools of kokane come through. We were fishing in about 60 to 70 foot of water and between 11 and 12 had a big group of kokane come through and limited out. Great time. The ice was 4 to 5 inches thick wherever we drilled. There's a big patch of open water at the island and south, but the other ice was safe. Had a blast, especially since that's most likely the only time I'll get out there this season. I'm already itching to get back down there. [Smile]

Dang it, I'm already back in Boise. Sounds like a great time.

The warmth and wind trashed the ice yesterday. There were two-foot seams of open water where there was solid ice the day before.

We fished just off the end of the dock and caught a few trout. Did not mark a school of kokanee. Had the entire lake to ourselves, though.
