Cascade Perch Info

Hello Idaho,

I'm currently stationed down south, originally from Michigan where i have had the pleasure of catching nice perch all my life. I wanted to take maybe one trip to Cascade and target perch if the trip would be worth it. If anyone could give me some info, tips I would appreciate it....just looking for one solid day of perch fishing. Anything would be greatly appreciated.

I was there last year and most of the perch fishing was around the island which was a two mile + walk. Fished on the west and south end and drilled many holes around previously areas that was 30 to 40 feet. Caught several crushing 20 feet down and that seemed odd to me. 6 to 12" but it was windy and I didn't want haul the shelter that far. I was glad to get a ride back for the last mile and a half or more.
