Strawberry - Jan 6th
#1
Fished Strawberry this morning arriving on the water about 8:30 a.m. We fished in the general area of the intake to Syar Tunnel. Fishing was tough today - there were few fish & the fish that came through were just nibbling the bait. Fished until 2:30 & moved 3 different times today - fished 31 feet & 41 feet and 14 feet of water. Ended up icing 11 fish (7 slot cutts & 4 rainbows). Everything was caught on a Radical Glow tube jig. Had the best fishing in 14 feet of water.

The water was stained & visibility was about 10 feet.

Headed to Current Creek on Thursday - provided the weather is not too bad.

Hey if CC is slow for you, make sure to try a couple of holes right next to the dam. Really close, like 5-8ft depth. Active jigging. My last couple of trips there, the dam holes were the only ones I could catch any dam fish from.[Tongue]

Thanks - I think we are going to head up to the head waters. I have done real well there in the past.

I can't blame you, especially if you're rolling on that beast in your avatar.
