Dave and I decided to start the new year off right and hit the lake. After a short delay at the iced over ramp at CFP we headed to an old grass bed that surprisingly still had some nice crisp green grass left to rip a trap through. We caught 3 fish in a short 4 hour outing that turned out to be a nice three fish limit. We had a 5.0, 6.1 and 7.7 for a three fish limit of 18.8 lbs. 2 of the fish were caught on a trap and the other was caught on a tn rig. Fish were caught in 3-8 fow.
