easy access at strawberry
#1
Me and my brother in law are looking to hit strawberry on Sunday, problem is we won't have a snowmobile or anything so I was wondering a good spot with not an awful hike to the water. I've only been there once and my brother in law never has but we wanna take a shot at some sized fish. Any recommendations where to hit?

LOL -- you may want to proof and edit your post. Easy access at The Ladders and not too bad at the Strawberry Marina. Most of us don't have access to snowmobiles, so we are used to hiking a ways.

Go to the marina and walk North of there. There is a point, and you will see a big round buoy on the shore there. Been doing good there with paddlebugs tipped with minnow. Has not been a lot of ppl that way either. We have had good luck in 22' FOW. Just find that and you should be in a money spot.

Powerbait, mealies, waxies, chub meat, or nightcrawlers may work better, I would think.

Chicken Creek East is pretty easy access and some good fishing, drive down the dirt road park and walk out 100 or so yards
