I fished Glendale last Saturday. There is a lot of slush around the edges so I would definitely bring a plank. I guess that place is known for having the water levels change even in the winter.

Ice is about 10 inches thick where we were. First fished in about 35 feet of water, caught 1 bow right off the bat suspended at about 20 feet. Then two dinky perch off the bottom. Thought I was in a good spot but it died off really quickly after the 1st hour. I moved really close to shore and found fish again off the bottom at 14 feet. All in all a fun day, not much snow on the ice and thankfully not much wind. There were a few groups on Glendale but also a few groups at Foster as we drove by.

Thank you to all of you for the updates in the Preston area. My son and I want to go down and try for gills and crappie, not to common in the area we are from.

I fished Winder today. Great ice, solid edges. Fishing was great for small fish. I caught trout, perch, gills, and a bass. My Marcum lx5 was plastered with fish literally from 30' feet on the bottom to 2 feet below the ice. Here's the size to expect if you go.
