Otter Creek Jan 11th

Went to the otter creek and did some hard deck fishing. I took my long time friend, and my boy and his girl friend. The fishing was better than it had been in the past five trips. We didn't catch the monsters we were hoping for, but we did catch a few. We fished from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. We did catch 15 between 4 of us and lost several others, including two big ones that broke 10 pound test line at the hole. We fished in 3-8 feet of water, with night crawlers and black mariboo jigs. Hope I can get down again this weekend, and find some monsters swimming the deep.

Thanks for posting your report Gman, we don't get many reports from Otter creek but it use to produce some hogs in years past. Sounds like a few big ones are still in there but they are just tougher to catch. If you don't mind me asking, were you fishing near the ramp?
