New Pole Advise
#1
I'm looking for a decent pole for primarily panfish/SMB fishing... something with a light action and capable of short casting light tackle.

I will be fishing primarily from a tube/toon.

I'd like to get something with more feel than the Light/Medium action Ugly-stick type tanks I have in my arsenal.

I'd like to stay in the $50 range but if I need to jump up a little bit to get a significant increase in fishing feel, I could.

I bought one last year that I love. It's an Okuma "Celilo" CE-S-602UL. 6-ft 2-pc for lines 2-6# and lures 1/32 - 1/4 oz. I put a Daiwa reel on it and spooled up with Trilene XL. Fabulous. Got it at Sportsman's Warehouse and the whole outfit was under $100.

Thanks! I am going to go ultra-lite and 6 or 6.5 ft. I intend to spool 4lb line on it and use it for poppers and light panfish jigs.

All the ones I've looked at are in the $40-50 range so it doesn't look like I need to go more expensive.

Thanks!
