I hit Rockport today with utahnovice or his first fishing trip on the hard deck. All was well when I pulled the first fish up. A nice fat 8 or 9 inch perch. The day wasnt as action packed as I was hoping for but utahnovice did get his first fish on the ice. A nice brown trout. Ill let him elaborate on his fish of he wants to.
The weather was beautiful but the fishing was slow. It all turned off about 130 PM. I ended the day with 4 perch. We fished 40 and 45 FOW. I threw everything but the actual tackle box at them but they just flipped me the fin. We saw lots of fish on the flasher, they just werent interested in what we had.
