I attended a high school wrestling meet at Copper Hills High School last night and witnessed one of the most beautiful acts of human love I've ever seen. A young man from Copper Hills who had been paralyzed in a firearm accident has recovered through sheer willpower and hard work to where he can walk with crutches and even wrestle. He wrestled an opponent from Alta High School in an exhibition match and did an absolutely amazing job. At the end of the match he was visibly "all in" and the young man from Alta picked him up in his arms and carried him back to his waiting teammates. I kinda lost it at that point. My youngest brother was paralyzed from the waist from being run over so I have some insight into what this young man has to endure and witnessing that selfless act of love by the young man from Alta touched me to the heart of my being. God bless both those wonderful young warriors.
