Thanks for the ideas with rod holders for ice fishing, pvc, worked very well, even when one fish tried to drag it down the hole.
East Canyon. Slow Start. Total 9 fish, kept 3 chunky rainbows. Fished the bay the protrudes under the road, on east side with outhouses, fished the north side of bay , sunny side near point. Fish were found shallow, 10 feet, at most 20 feet. they would come in groups, had doubles once. Used the tried and true kastmaster small, with 1/2 worm below, wacky hooked, but on a very sharp #12 hook. Also yellow jig with worm worked. Pleasant day. Most of the other people weren't catching, maybe to deep, out in middle. I tried out in middle, got one.
