Winter river my style

I decided to hit the river the other day and it was a blast. I am using two flies and an Indictor. You really have to watch the indicator because with no flavor on these flies they will spit them quickly. Plus with all the debris floating, have to really navigate the catch.
Not long, but they are thick as heck.

Yellow Glow Bug #10 and a couple on a Black Weenie (Green Weenie in black with Fluor orange or chart bead) in #12. They are sipping the surface so I am fishing the about 10 to 18 inch deep under a Thingamabobber.

Thanks. I am a little surprised. I envisioned midges etc, but that sounds about like what you were using in the summer. Great bunch of fish...way to go!
