Interesting to see how different countries approach fishing. Those were some great fish you caught. What is the reasoning behind the catch and kill approach? To get people their limit quickly, and thus get them off the river???

catch and kill is this way because catch and release makes the fish suffer, I kid you not, they want them bonked in the head, and throat slashed right away so the fish does not suffer

Wow! That is the last thing I would have thought of as the reason. To me that bonk and slash treatment is more extreme suffering than a small poke with a sharp hook. Different....
