Welcome new forum members, and old forum members alike. Seems we've hit that twice yearly mode between hard water and softwater, when cabin fever sets in, and the desire to get out gets the best of some. Plus we've noticed a number of new users signing up. Welcome.

I would like to reach out and ask that we all try to maintain civil relations on the board. Differences of opinion are inevitable, and serve to stimulate our discussions and debates, and there's nothing wrong with that. Debate is good, discussion is good, sharing your opinion, and knowledge/interpretation of fishing regs, and fishing options at different bodies of water is fine.

BUT - personal attacks, derogatory remarks, insults direct or indirect, profanity - all that NOT WELCOME. We want to keep this a family friendly site, and we want forum members to feel welcome to post, share, provide input, and receive feedback. It is easy to get riled up behind the protection of a screen and internet anonymity. Be clear, the moderators do try to keep things in check, and users who step outside of the guildelines will receive warnings, threads will be locked, or if necessary temporary, or even permanent bans issued from the site.

WE ask that you all help us with our "jobs". The pay is slim, and the rewards are pretty non-existent. But we give for the good of the site, and the hope for positive, stimulating interactions between forum members. I know I for one have learned SO much here, and enjoy sharing what I can, and I've met some really great people and shared some great adventures because of the site. I sincererly hope you all can too.

If you are new, or if you have a memory like a seive, please be sure to take the time to review the guidelines before posting. If a mod or other user suggests a post or comment is inappropriate, please do what you can to be supportive.

PS: If anyone is itching for the BFT stickers, shoot me a pm. Or if you see me on the ice (if any is left) flying my flag, stop by - I have some in my tackle box for just such an occasion.
