The scouts have asked if I would take them fishing. I was hoping somebody could tell me if McTucker ponds were still frozen. Mid February this should be a silly question but with the weather we've had I'm not sure. I'd hate to get them down there and have to just turn around.

I was there 2 weeks ago on the 4th. Had 5 inches, but I was fishing the end of the pond that gets the most sun, so there was open water near me, and my spud punched through near the submerged stump.
Hopefully someone has some more recent info. In the shady areas you would probably still be fine, but I just really can't say.

Drove by Friday I wouldn't be out on it there lots of open water and cracks I would say not . AF is almost all open as of Monday

I think your best bet would be Mackey Res. Very thick ice and catching a lot of small kokannee .
