started fishing around 9:30 am yesterday- just S of the permanent shelters. Fishing was pretty constant the entire time (left around 3). I believe I landed around 60 kokanee...only one decent one at 13", the rest were around 7-8" but we had a great time. Fishing buddy landed one rainbow and I had one up to the hole but came off-both around 14". We were in 40 fow, use something small/pink tipped with a piece of wax worm and you couldn't hit the bottom before getting a bite. Great ice-no slush. was about 3ft thick. Great place to take kids that get bored easy...key was to be jigging. the bite is very soft but fairly easy fishing.
