[#800000]Ice fishing is NOT going to happen at Willard any more this year I'm afraid. Boats and 'toons have been on it for the last week. Pineview is still a go with almost 20 inches of hard deck. Getting on at the Port Ramp can be done with a plank or follow the floating dock walkway all the way to the ice. It has a big hump at the end but ends at the solid stuff. We had a group of about 20 on there Saturday and saw about 30 others out enjoying themselves. Folks were walking on from Browning Point and Cemetery Point all day on Saturday.[/#800000]

yeah i fished PV Sunday morning and the ice was good with no slush at first light.
The shore is a tad soft but a plank wasn't necessary in the morning but coming off at 1:00 it was nice to have.
Fishing was good but the size is small mostly, we iced about 30-40 crappies with only about 4 or 5 in the 9 inch range and the rest were silver dollar sized.
I also got into 15 or so good perch for PV that were all about 9 to 10 inches.
Super lite bites that morning.
