Deer Creek?
#1
I'm taking one of my old friend from high school so I want to show him a great time on the lake. Maybe teach the guy how to fly fish. Here is the real question. How much do they charge for entrance fee in the marina because I'm taking my 12' pontoon and which marina have been getting more catching rate with decent - good size bows.

I'd love to catch some big bows especially on a fly rod.

Thanks for any info. If you see some crazy guys fly fishing in a small pontoon that would be us [Wink].

According to the website, day use fees are $10 per vehicle. Good luck out there!

Dont know about the fees, its easier and cheaper to buy a state park pass. Fishing has been really good pretty much everywhere around the island. Mostly smaller fish on the surface and larger on the bottom.

Ya I know it's cheaper. I'm just in a position that one of my friend contacted another friend to see if he needs more people working at his play then I will get one but if I'm moving down far south of Utah for a new job then I won't be getting a pass.

Thanks for the info. Just hope I can show my friend that never fly fished a good time.

If you can pack it 100 yards, you can park in a makeshift lot just above the Walsburg arm. There's a trail down to the water and no fees to park there.

Ya I know that area is free but dragging my pontoon, 2 batteries, engine, fishing gear, and lunch isn't worth it in that type of walk. Thanks for side info but I'm going to pass the free parking
