Little Salmon Update 3/15

Hey Guys. I posted last week that I was new to the site and wanted to go steelhead fishing. I got some great tips so I'll try to pass the info I got today on. I fished the Little salmon today for the first time. Got My first Steelhead ever just below the rapid river confluence on my third cast of the day. Bobber and Jig fishing with a 1/16 nightmare rabbit hair jig. Water is high and fast and off color but the fish are there. Witnessed another steelhead caught a little farther upstream at midday but my early morning fish was all that we got. Checked out the salmon east of riggins and the water looks pretty nice. Stained but not muddy. Not sure on water temps. Thanks again for all the tips and I hope this helps. Tight Lines.
