Last year my brother in law in San Diego was telling me that his dad has never gone and really wants to ice fishing. His dad is 75 years old and has had bone cancer. Well, about 3 weeks ago the doctor gave him some good news....no sign of any cancer.[
] They are on their way up Wednesday 3-20. We'll be staying in Heber for the weekend and will fish DC Thursday afternoon from the boat, Friday-Strawberry or Soldier Creek (still trying to get a few sleds lined up to help him on/off the ice), then take the boat out to Starvation on Sat. Im pretty confident in my ability to catch fish, but we all know how uncooperative fish can be sometimes. I believe you can never have too much advise or info to arm yourself. Anyways, any advise is greatly appreciated. I want to make this an awesome trip for them to remember.
