Just caught this article, and I've seen other stories.

Supports my notion, I'd rather eat fish I catch than any imported farm raised "catch". If you think your fish is full of shit, well - here's proof! People question local water quality, I'll take my chances thanks.

I knew I was a locavore for a reason.

Anything "farmed" in mass quantity (especially by large corporations) is generally dangerous to your health and the environment. Be it fish, livestock, vegetables and produce, or otherwise it is much better to hunt it, catch it, forage it, or grow it yourself. If you cannot, then buy as local and from as small an operation as you feasibly can.
