So, does anyone know what they are doing with the bass pond behind the trophy pond at Wilson Springs? I caught a nice ~10" bluegill out of there a couple of years ago, and I've seen some OK bass and catfish, but it's not looking so good...

My guess is that if it had a good catfish, Bluegill, and Bass population they probably wanted to kill them all off to plant trout. Ron

Heh, possible, but I hope not. Hopefully someone has heard if they had something kill it off or if they are going to redesign it somehow. They stocked trout in the front, maybe with the new 2 fish limit more people wandered to the back and fished that out too.

Went there in January. Talked to fish and game and he said the pump broke last August and was never repaired. He said they just let all the fish die. None were relocated.

That sucks, such a shame. Now I have pictures of where all the deep holes are and the good structure, and it may not get filed for a while.

Exactly what I was thinking. I had no idea of the great structure and deep holes that were there. Hope this gets fixed..
