Went to Vernon this afternoon to see how the fishing was. Ended up catching 3 tigers, 2 bows, and 1 brown. I was on the water for about 2 1/2 hours. All fish were about 14 in. and healthy. I had my flat tin can dragging a panther martin near the dam.

Good job! I'm heading up there this weekend with my GF and hopefully my parents if my mom gets over her bronchitis. I'm hoping to get into those big browns that are in there. I had one that snapped me off right before I netted him. I'm guessing he was probably 21"-24" and girthy...but I'm a fisherman so I'll say he was a record breaker [

Limited access to the creek right above the resevoir from private land. About 2 miles above it goes back to public land. Just a heads up. [

I havent fished the creek since i was a lot younger.[
] There used to be a few browns up there under the banks. I'd imagine there still are a few if a guy found the right pool. Good luck and have fun.[signature] |
