Got a report from my old man about 15 minutes ago. He fished Chesterfield from shore today in the nasty weather. He ended up with two couple pound fish for his efforts, had one beast on and lost. Says water is about 100 feet below top of boat ramp. Let's hope for a lot more runoff. He said that he could see no ice at all on any of the lake! FISH ON!

My dad drove his car to the lake, stuck his rods in the mud and sat in the car for most of the time. Stir crazy to get out.

Since I have never been to Chesterfield but am going to Soda Springs this weekend to see a friend could I launch a 17' lund?? You say the water is 100' from the TOP of the ramp so I dont really know?? Thanks for your input
